First off the pants have as decent appearance to them and look good. But they to be hemmed to fit, came 6 inches to long for my 32 inch inseam. It took me all night to hem the 4 pair that I got. The cord string in the waist band is really cheap! I have had to take the strings out of a few older Chefware pants to fix them. The elastic in the waist band is poor so the pants need good strings to stay up. The material is mostly poly, which is bad and good. It is good because they are durable. Bad because they are not as comfortable and don't breathe as well as all cotton. I prefer the comfort and breathe-ability over the durability working in hot kitchens. Over all I am not really happy with the purchase. Will try another brand, or go back to Chefware next time.

I bought three pairs of "stone" and three pairs of "slate" cargo chef pants (Uncommon Threads brand). The pants fit and feel great but the first time I wore two pairs of the "stone" color the drawstrings broke while I was trying to tie them. My wife retro-fitted them with para cord drawstrings which are vastly superior to the stock drawstrings. Shame that Uncommon Threads couldn't be bothered to spend another ten cents per pair of pants or so...

I bought these for my son, and he likes the fit. He said it was a little stiffer material but he likes the extra pockets.

I purchased these pants for my Grandson as a gift he was very pleased with the fitting and was looking for something that had a wider leg opening. Great quality. The staff was very helpful on the phone to get me the right style

These pants are very comfortable and breathable. They seem to be of heavy enough material to withstand the shocks of working in a kitchen, with all the sharp edges and other hazards. The pockets are GREAT! I like the colors available. The drawstring could have been of a thicker, more heavy duty material, and a zipper fly would have been even better. Overall, though, I really like this product.
